EnsoPet Starter is composed of wheat, sawdust, minerals and natural micro-organisms.
The micro-organisms include: lactic acid bacteria, yeasts, photosynthetic bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi. The Mixture has been thoroughly dried so it can be stored safely for years without losing any of its effectiveness.
It is recommended that approximately one tablespoon of the EnsoPet mix be added for each cup of animal waster placed in the composter. Once the EnsoPet Starter is added, the micro-organisms get to work and speed up the breakdown of the waste as well as eliminating strong odours.
Each bag of EnsoPet Starter contains 1 kg of the mixture in a convenient zip lock bag.
